| If you use AOL to browse the internet, you probably have
problems logging into a lot of sites. This has always been the case as
AOL uses a custom branded browser that caches pages differently than most
common browser. I recommend that you consider downloading something more
reliable and compatible with the rest of the Internet. I personally recommend
downloading the latest version of Firefox
as it is a superior browser. But if you are not comfortable downloading
and installing programs, this one is already on your computer. |
| If you have Microsoft Windows on your computer, then you already
have a built in browser called Internet Explorer. You can access this by
going to the start bar on your computer. Click the images to the right
for step by step instructions. |
| Internet Explorer is commonly found on the top of the start bar. If
not it can be found in the program list as shown on the right. |
| Typing the URL into the address bar will get you to the site as shown.
Note this works with any site that you are having problem logging onto
with AOL. |
| Once there you should have a similar screen to the one shown. Log in
and browse the site. For more help using internet Explorer click the help
menu on your screen. |
