A very nice collection of high-quality glossy 3.5" x 5.5" photo postcards from the late 1940s-early 1950s. These are all WW2 era IJN warships. Most all were published as postcards by Real Photographs Co.Ltd., Southport, Lancs., UK, and the Imperial War Museum, UK. Identifiable units are Yamato, Nagato, Fuso, Kirishima, Ise (BB), Ise (CV/BB), Yamashiro, Takao, Suzuya, Kako, Furutaka, Ashigara, Mogami, Myoko, Yahagi, Shokaku, Kaga, Akagi, Soryu, Hiryu, Ryujo, Kaiyo, Amagiri, and I-61. A very nice vintage set; all are in excellent condition. One set only.
