A very nice vintage glossy 3.5" x 5.5" photo postcard collection, of British Royal Navy warships from the early 1930s through the end of WW2. These were issued by Real Photographs Co. Ltd., Southport, Lancs., UK and by the Imperial War Museum, UK. in the late 1940s - early 1950s. All are in excellent condition. Identifiable ships are: (1)Battleships and battlecruisers - Nelson, King George V, Vanguard, Queen Elizabeth, Ramillies, Resolution, Revenge, Repulse, Renown. (2) Carriers - Ark Royal, Implacable. (3)Cruisers - Sheffield, Dido, Belfast, Achilles, York, Exeter, Kenya, Newcastle, Euryalus, Argonaut, Newfoundland, Mauritius, and Sussex. (4) Destroyers - Cossack, Matchless, Orkan (Polish), Corunna, Urchin, Decoy, Trafalgar, Rapid (frigate), Finisterre. (5) Subs - Clyde (Severn?), and Astute.In some cases, there are 2-3 different shots of the same vessel. One set only.
